A Nice Guide for Survival in UIC, 알렌 특강 2차

A special lecture was held to help freshmen at Yonsei University’s Underwood International College (UIC) adapt successfully to their new academic environment. With around 50 students in attendance, the event provided a wealth of valuable information to assist them in navigating university life.

The seminar was led by RA Seohyun Chung, who utilized a well-prepared PPT to cover a range of essential topics. These included how to create effective class schedules, tips for selecting courses, managing grades, time management strategies, and two types of exchange programs each held by OIA and UIC. To ensure a comfortable and engaging learning experience, students were served dinner (hamburgers) during the seminar. This allowed them to enjoy a meal while absorbing the critical information being presented.

This program not only equipped freshman with the necessary tools and knowledge for their academic journey but also provided an opportunity to connect and network with their peers. It also offered practical support and fostered a sense of community among UIC freshmen. As these new students embark on their university journey, such initiatives will continue to play a crucial role in helping them thrive academically and socially.
