APPENZELLER INT'L

Appenzeller Drawing Cafe

Drawing is better with friends! Join us at the Drawing Cafe.

Learning how to draw is an important skill for students to develop. Not only is drawing a form of creative expression, but it can also have numerous benefits for academic performance and overall well-being.First, drawing can help students take better notes and retain information more effectively. Drawing diagrams, charts, and mind maps can help students visualize complex concepts and make connections between ideas. In addition, drawing can help students express their thoughts and emotions, reducing stress and increasing mental clarity. By putting their thoughts on paper, students can gain a deeper understanding of their feelings and experiences.

Creative events are always the most popular, and the Drawing Café was no exception, with the sign-up sheet filling almost overnight. Seems like Appenzeller House has a lot of artistic students!

Appenzeller Drawing Café was dedicated to ceramics. Students weredivided into teams and given a blank ceramic plate and all the necessary materials to create their unique design. Whether they wanted to draw a landscape, an animal, or an abstract pattern, the possibilities were endless.

Students learned how to draw on ceramic plates, shared some snacks together and talked about university life. Each of the plates turned out to be a masterpiece. Which one is your favorite?
