APPENZELLER INT'L
<Build a Pet>
Appenzeller International House held a Build a Pet workshop on May 9th to offer students a fun way to relieve stress after the midterm exams.
The event began with a short Kahoot trivia game to determine the order in which students could choose the components to build their very own Moru doll keychain. Based on their ranking, students then lined up to choose from a wide range of yarn colors, accessories, facial features, and key rings.
Music played softly in the background as the students followed the instructions, bending and twisting the yarn to create the bodies of their pets. The pets truly came to life once they added the facial features and accessorized. The students received mini birth certificates after completing their creations, allowing them to “adopt” the pets they had just made.
Even though they all followed the same tutorial, each student crafted a unique pet, reflecting their individual personalities and adding their own character. They left the workshop not only with smiles on their faces, but also with a keychain to remember the day.
